Sorry for the inconvienience, but I decided to program a new CGI for my guestbook, so you can't sign in. I will state directly:
Well... I said that and now it's april and still there nothing new here. What a shame =) But it would be a good time to start doing something about it now. So, we'll see if I ever manage to do it. Daniel Steinberger (FC-Member #018) <wacken@gmx.ch> wrote Thursday, November 22, 2001 at 04:14:26: I think have to point out an interestning alternative to re-releasing you first two albums. Personally I already got the "Into the dark Past" LP, which 'converted' to a CD, because I have no player for it. But I just HAD to buy it, when i saw it... But the band's style changed significantly (and I prefer the new style much more than the old thrash-style) so I think it's reasonable to re-record those albums. There are band who already did this (although they never changed their style that much) like Iced Earth (Days of Purgatory), Gammaray (Blast from the Past) or Edguy (Savage Poetry)! Maybe AD could even top like Edguy and release a 4-CD package containing re-releases of the 2 old recordings (remastered maybe) and additional re-recordings (and re-arrangements?) of the old material. That would be GREAT! Think about it! I would appreciate it very much, if the band would choose this option, because I can draw real value out of this as a fan, and this will achieve several good things: 1. It will put the recently (at W:O:A) appeared bootleggers out of business 2. It will give the folks who already have the first two albums something in addition to just getting the original stuff repackaged. 3. Better production, and Dirk on vocals would be killer! So rock on for now!! Aachen, GermanyDaniel/NEMESiS wrote Tuesday, November 20, 2001 at 20:18:58: Hey John! Didn't you hear from the FC? We're having a meeting with Angel Dust on 24th in Dortmund.
