So - finally I've been to one of the concerts of the current tour. This was awesome. Though Rhapsody wasn't able to move my mood this night, it still was very funny. AngelDust kicked ass tonight. That's why there are some new pictures after a long time. I've had fun talking to Ritchie, Banx and of cause the other FC members. There are roumors about a single headliner event near Dortmund. And AngelDust are confirmed for the W:O:A. Whoho!

Newsflash Added February, 27th, 2002

Well, finally Of Human Bondage is out now. Now it's turning a marathon-spin in my CD-player. So now I got the material and time to add the lyrics and other details to the apropriate sections of this page.
(Another note for all who didn't know yet: Bernd's now playing with Running Wild.)

Release Gig canceled Added February, 14th, 2002

Unfortunatly the release show on February 24th was canceled, because of the host (Matrix-Bochum). There seems no alternate location available, so there will be no show.

Releasedate for 'Of Human Bondage' confirmed Added January, 13th, 2002

February 25th, the new album 'Of Human Bondage' will be officially released (U.S.-release date will be March 5th). There will be a release-gig in the Matrix, Bochum (D). Support will be given by 'Dew-Sentenced' and 'Mourning Caress'.

ANGEL DUST has finished recording their new album, Of Human Bondage, with Siggi Bemm at Woodhouse Studio. The effort will present the band in a slightly heavier, more straight-forward direction than last year's successful Enlighten The Darkness. The album's cover will probably feature the angelic photography courtesy of the well-known Austria artist Gerald Axelrodt (whose work already adorned the front of Enlighten). News from ANGEL DUST's newest guitarist, Ritchie Wilkeson:
"The material for the new Angel Dust record, Of Human Bondage, is a departure from the kind of 80s classic metal from the previous records. The material was written over the course of the 2 weeks I spent there in July. It really was a extension of the vibe we got as a band doing the Nevermore tour in May... angry... dark... defiant! The songs came together very naturally. When I returned from the recording in August at Woodhouse Studios in Hagen Germany with producer Siggi Bemm (Gorgoth, GRIP INC., The Covenant, Unleashed, The Gathering), we, as a band, sat down and kind of went for a new game plan as far as the way the other Angel Dust records were done and came up with a far more aggressive approach, full of dark moments, beautiful moments, and brutal moments, which are all along the journey that is 'OF HUMAN BONDAGE.'"
